National Spa Week 2022 in the UK is underway and what better time to unwind with a relaxing spa weekend in Birmingham? The city has plenty of fantastic spas where you can enjoy being pampered. If you need to escape from working life, booking yourself into a spa is a great way to do it.

The National Spa Week, takes place from October 31 to November 4, and aims to raise awareness of the physical, mental and emotional benefits regular spa attendance can offer. While it is a cultural norm to go for a regular spa treatment in many parts of Europe, people in the UK still tend to view it as a once in a blue moon treat rather than a weekly or monthly essential.

Organisers of National Spa Week said: “Our 21st century lives are fast paced, more digitally influenced, and busier than ever before. In the same way regular gym attendance keeps us physically fit, regular spa attendance is an effective way to help combat the long term effects of everyday stress that we have become accustomed to living with.”

We’ve taken a look on Tripadvisor for the best spas that Birmingham has to offer. According to their reviews, these are the five best in the city.

We’re only looking at spas that have a Tripadvisor rating of 4/5 or above. Additionally, we’ll be discarding any places that have fewer than five reviews on the website.

So, what are you waiting for? Put your feet up and relax as we take you through Birmingham’s five best spas for National Spa Week.
