Joe Lycett: 'This is what other UK cities can learn from Birmingham and Brummies'

The Hall Green born comedian said Birmingham really is number one when it comes to curries.

He also said that others could learn a lot from how Brummies carry themselves
“We're not that good but it's alright,” he joked. “I think there's something that’s quite endearing about that, and I do love Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds, but sometimes the way they go on about themselves you think 'It's not that good. It's absolutely fine up there, but Birmingham's better.”
He added: “So, I think a bit of humility wouldn’t go amiss actually. A little bit of understanding that Manchester can not always be that great - and I say this with love - I love those cities but I think we have such a low opinion of ourselves publicly, that I think that's actually our superpower and I look forward to that statement ruining any future chances of going to Liverpool!”
