4. Albatross Death Cult, Jewellery Quarter - open date in June
Renowned Birmingham chef Alex Claridge says this is the city's 'weirdest restaurant'. The name is certainly striking. The intimate 14-cover restaurant serves a menu of around 12 courses to 14 guests sat around a Omakase-Style, monolithic kitchen counter for one sitting per service. The dishes, mostly featuring seafood and coastal ingredients, will be served directly by the chefs. Rating: Very Good Seafood | Restaurant | BirminghamWorld
