Adopting a pet is not an easy decision because it comes with responsibilities. The little furries depend on us for their wellbeing, food and love. While many people believe that cats only love themselves, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. When we treat them right, they show humans the full spectrum of their love.
These beautiful creatures have guarded but open hearts. Once they get comfortable, they happily show the full range of their personalities to their humans. Just like other animals, cats have distinctive personalities to tell us their likes and dislikes.
Cat Protection centres are currently not open for walk-in visits to meet the cats, this is available by appointment only. To find out more, get in touch with your local centre or branch. Here are eight adorable cats and kittens ready for adoption:
1. Buster
Buster is quite the man of mystery. He enjoys his own space and a snuggly place to hide and feel safe. Buster can sometimes be nervous around new people, and will need a home that can offer him the time and patience that he needs. His confidence has grown beautifully during his stay with the charity. Buster is a fan of his own company only, so a home with no other pets is what he is looking for. | Cats Protection
2. Tobi
Tobi is a sweet and cheeky boy with lots of love to give. He loves dinner time almost as much as he loves a cardboard box to snooze in. Although Tobi may have earnt his OAP status, he still has plenty of spring in his step and shouldn't be underestimated! He is a vocal lad who isn't afraid to let you know exactly what he is thinking - usually wondering where's the food? Tobi would like a calm home with no children or other pets. | Cats Protection
3. Boo
He has a quirky meow and likes to carry toys in his mouth, which adds even more character to his lovely nature! Boo can be a little shy at first but will soon be purring next to you with time. He enjoys to spend the day with a bit of play, a belly rub and a lengthy nap (in a sunny spot!) Boo makes a wonderful companion and has so much love to give! Please note, Boo requires on going medication for chronic rhinitis. | Cats Protection
4. Lily
Meet the charming black and white kitten looking for a loving forever home! This little one might be a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you, her true affectionate and playful nature shines through. She has an adorable quirk of loving to lick your feet, a sure sign of her endearing personality. She would thrive in a home with older children who can give her the space and patience she needs to feel comfortable. | Cats Protection
