Ed Sheeran was in Birmingham once again at the end of last month (September) eating at his favourite Second City restaurant.
The pop icon was in the city on September 22, making a surprise appearance at Diljit Dosanjh’s concert at the Utilita Arena, joing him on stage for a version of his hit single Shape of You.

And before Dosanjh’s concert, Ed dined out at his favourite Birmingham restaurant, Asha’s. For the third time, Sheeran made his way to Asha’s on Newhall Street with Jaykae for a pre-concert meal where he took photos with staff.
General manager Nouman Farooqui told BirminghamWorld the popstar loved his meal so much that he even offered him two tickets to Diljit’s sold out show and two of his team members went to the concert.

He told BirminghamWorld: “He came to the restaurant after doing the soundcheck at the arena and was going to perform after eating his favourite curry at his favourite restaurant. He said he loves Asha’s food and it’s one of his favourite restaurants.”

Asha’s in Birmingham has become a hotspot for celebrities. Both Tom Cruise and Pink have expressed their love for the restaurant.
Tom Cruise enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala so much that he ordered it twice during his visit. Pink, on the other hand, called it the "best Indian food I’ve had in my life". It’s no wonder Asha’s is a favorite among A-listers!
