We’ve recently been lookig at the best pubs and bars in and around Birmingham’s neighbourhoods.

This week, we’ve decided to rank the venues in Erdington.

The historic north Birmingham neighbourhood has many historical attractions and one of the most well-known features in the area is Spaghetti Junction, situated on the southern edge of the district and on the border of Aston and Gravelly Hill.

The former nightclub Mothers on the neighbourhood’s high street also had a big impact on music in the late 1960s, with Pink Floyd recording a live record there, and the likes of Black Sabbath, Elton John and Led Zeppelin all playing there.

There’s also plenty of shops on Erdington’s high street, which is home to many of the suburb’s pubs and bars.
