A hen do is now filled with a host of activities and partying designed to celebrate the bride-to-be and her upcoming wedding.

It’s the perfect time for a bride to spend some time with her girlfriends and family and experience somewhere new together.

The pressure of picking the perfect location can cause more stress on the run up to the big day and so bride’s might take to google to search out the best locations.

British fashion retailer Pour Moi have revealed their data on the trendiest UK hen do destinations, with Birmingham coming in second on the list.

Birmingham has a host of amazing shops if you’re looking to shop til you drop and the city also has an impressive 11 Michelin starred restaurants for some fine dining once your day is over.

The city also has a great host of entertainment with the Utilita Arena and the Bear Grylls adventure, which is a great experience if you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous.

Michael Thomson, founder of Pour Moi, said: “Hen dos are a great opportunity for the bride’s closest girlfriends and family to get together ahead of the big day and have some fun whilst celebrating their bride-to-be, whether it be a relaxing getaway in the countryside or a wild weekend abroad exploring somewhere new.

“Hen dos are a fantastic way to create memories that will last a lifetime, and after a couple of years of cancelled trips, they can also be the perfect excuse to plan a fun girls’ weekend away.”
