Birmingham has once again made a Time Out list

The second city has been ranked as one of the best places in the UK for food this year.

Brum was recently voted as the 13th best place to visit in Europe for 2025, and has now made the magazine’s list as the 11th best place in the UK for food this year, too.

Birmingham boasts one of the most vibrant food and drink scenes in the country (though we might be a little biased).

Whether you’re after an upscale fine-dining experience for a special occasion or a no-frills greasy spoon to kickstart your morning, Birmingham has something for everyone, as recognised by Time Out.

What did Time Out say about the city?

Birmingham scored well for its food’s variety and was better than average for affordability. The magazine said: “Even at 11, Brum compared favourably to cities worldwide – it came 82nd in the global list, out of 100, and ahead of the likes of Lyon, Bologna, Rome and Istanbul.”
