Featured review: “Took my husband on the brewery tour for his birthday. We both thoroughly enjoyed how much we learned about their brewing, especially the commitment to green energy practices and making vegan, gluten free beers.

“Our guide, Andrew, has a contagious passion for beer - skilfully explaining to us laymen the science of brewing, serving and enjoying the beer. We are curious to explore more cask tastings now we understand the differences.”

2 Bar Ikigai

This independent bar is located in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham and focuses on Japanese ingredients.

Featured review: “Sooo many drinks to choose from. In the menu they have a map of Tokyo and have a drink to represent each district. The drinks taste amazing 100% recommended.

“The service was great and the bartender explained each drink and the reasoning for all of the ingredients included.

“Great atmosphere and beautiful decor!! A must if you’re in JQ.”

The cocktail bar on New Street is a top place to enjoy a classy beverage, and the friendliness of the staff is often mentioned in the reviews.

Featured review: “Really great experience, we came quite early too and it was still pretty busy, great venue, awesome drinks, friendly staff especially Romeo. He made a really nice rose and even gave me a charger to charge my phone.”

The Darts themed sports bar is a location for a few drinks and some games of everyone’s favourite pub game.

Featured review: “What a brilliantly run venue. It was busy but the staff were so efficient.

“We checked in, were escorted to our booth, shown what to do. Bar service was excellent using the button. Good idea for bag and coat storage.

“At the end of our game we found another table which was being well cleaned as we arrived.

“The staff were all well trained, extremely polite and overall had a great night out. The darts was excellent too! Great fun.”

A classic real ale pub, The Wellington is popular with clients for its range of beers and warm atmosphere.

Featured review: “Back up to Birmingham for a crawl around some of the city’s finer real ale pubs first stop was the Welli and it was good to find it functioning as normal post Covid lock down period with all hand pumps in operation providing the usual mixture of ale styles and strengths and a focus on midlands brewers.

“The two I tried were in good condition and as there were no issues with either the service levels or the cats litter tray it was another perfect visit for me to The second city’s premier real ale watering hole.”
