Birmingham Dogs Home is putting out a heartfelt call for support this spring, combining adorable dogs in need of homes with a feel-good fundraising challenge to make a real difference.
As part of their ‘Spring into May’ campaign, the charity is urging locals to take on a personal challenge throughout the month—whether it’s walking, cycling, or something unique—all to raise vital funds. The home receives no government funding and relies solely on public generosity, with every penny going toward food, shelter, and medical care for the 2,500 dogs they rescue each year.
To highlight their work, we've also pulled together a gallery of 13 adorable dogs currently looking for their forever homes in 2025. From playful pups to calm companions, each one is full of personality and waiting for the right match.
Supporters who raise over £50 during the challenge will even receive a thank-you gift, and the suggested target is £100. Whether you're a dog lover or simply looking to give back this spring, this campaign is a great way to get involved.
Visit Birmingham Dogs Home’s website to sign up or learn more about the dogs ready for adoption or the challenge. Every step you take really could change a life.
