I’m a lovely boy who adores fuss and attention. When I’m out on a walk, I love to explore and take in all the sights and smells—there’s so much to see! I don’t really know how to play with toys yet, but maybe you can teach me? I’d love an active home where I can go on plenty of adventures. I’m looking for a home with adults or older kids (16+) where I can be the only dog.
Age: 3 years.

13 beautiful dogs in need of forever homes in the West Midlands including adorable Mia and Tia

We’ve taken a look at even more dogs and puppies in need of finding their forever homes across the West Midlands in 2025.

Birmingham Dogs Home is putting out a heartfelt call for support this spring, combining adorable dogs in need of homes with a feel-good fundraising challenge to make a real difference.

As part of their ‘Spring into May’ campaign, the charity is urging locals to take on a personal challenge throughout the month—whether it’s walking, cycling, or something unique—all to raise vital funds. The home receives no government funding and relies solely on public generosity, with every penny going toward food, shelter, and medical care for the 2,500 dogs they rescue each year.

To highlight their work, we've also pulled together a gallery of 13 adorable dogs currently looking for their forever homes in 2025. From playful pups to calm companions, each one is full of personality and waiting for the right match.

Supporters who raise over £50 during the challenge will even receive a thank-you gift, and the suggested target is £100. Whether you're a dog lover or simply looking to give back this spring, this campaign is a great way to get involved.

Visit Birmingham Dogs Home’s website to sign up or learn more about the dogs ready for adoption or the challenge. Every step you take really could change a life.
