Cats can be incredibly lovable family pets, once they get settled in and get familiar with their humans and surroundings. All cats are territorial, including indoor cats, and like to have their own space to chill in. However, they also love a fuss and have distinct personalities.
If that sounds like the perfect pet for you, RSPCA Birmingham is home to several beautiful cats - who can be both indoor and outdoor. Most of them will be happy with access to the outdoors and are sent only after they are neutered or spayed.
The Newbrook Farm in Frankley, Birmingham receives a high volume of applications and emails, so it is recommended that you send them your completed application form. The centre is appointment only and if you meet a cats rehoming criteria, you can fill in an RSPCA Birmingham Cat/Kitten Perfect Match Form. However, if you are still not certain and want more information, you can see their adoption procedure on the RSPCA website.
If you have been planning on getting yourself a cat, here are eight beautiful kitties, including a pair, waiting to be rehomed:

1. Maisy & Ash
This very lovely duo are Maisy and Ash. They were signed over by their previous owner. They have settled in really well and Ash is Mr confident, always eager to jump out of his pod for a stroll, he enjoys fuss and is very foody. He has been known to try and steal Maisy’s food. Maisy is a sweet friendly girl, although she is not as forward as Ash. She enjoys fuss but can still be a little timid. She appears to gain confidence from Ash and they seem to have a really lovely bond - you will often find them snuggled up together - so the charity are looking for them to be rehomed together. Due to Maisy being a little timid, they are looking for them to be rehomed to a household with late primary school age children (if present) and no dogs. | Birmingham RSPCA

2. Grace
This pretty girl is Grace, she was abandoned so unfortunately we know nothing about her history. Grace is a super sweet and a friendly little lady. She loves having all the fuss that’s on offer and being in her ecarers’ company and she will purr loudly to let us know how happy she is. She enjoys playtime and being groomed and pampered. She will climb onto our laps and up our chest to snuggle up as close as possible! | rspca

3. Nelson
This handsome boy is Nelson, he originally was abandoned in a carrier in a park, he quickly found a new home but unfortunately due to a change in circumstances he has recently been returned. Nelson can be a little shy initially but once he settles in his previous owner describes him as being bold and affectionate. He loves being groomed and pampered as this is more fuss in his eyes! Nelson enjoys having a cat nap and curling up in his hooded bed where he feels safe. He enjoys play during interactive playtime with anything that you dagnle in front of him. Due to Nelson sensitive nature, he would be best suited a quiet home with older children who understand that he can be a little shy to begion with. | RSPCA

4. Crystal
Crystal is a very sweet girl who will happily jump on your lap for a snuggle. She was heavily pregnant and gave birth to a litter of 7 kittens when she arrived at the centre. She has been an amazing mother to them all and is now separate from them after giving them lots of love and care in a foster home and is now looking for her forever home. She would need to be in a home where she is the only pet as she’s not a fan of other dogs and cats. In foster she was very good around children of a primary school age. So, would happily live with a family. | rspca
