RSPCA Birmingham: Meet eight adorable kitties up for adoption at the animal charity
If you have been planning on getting yourself a cat, here are eight beautiful kitties, including a couple of cuties who comes as a pair, waiting to be rehomed in Birmingham
Cats can be incredibly lovable family pets, once they get settled in and get familiar with their humans and surroundings. All cats are territorial, including indoor cats, and like to have their own space to chill in. However, they also love a fuss and have distinct personalities.
If that sounds like the perfect pet for you, RSPCA Birmingham is home to several beautiful cats - who can be both indoor and outdoor. Most of them will be happy with access to the outdoors and are sent only after they are neutered or spayed.
The Newbrook Farm in Frankley, Birmingham receives a high volume of applications and emails, so it is recommended that you send them your completed application form. The centre is appointment only and if you meet a cats rehoming criteria, you can fill in an RSPCA Birmingham Cat/Kitten Perfect Match Form. However, if you are still not certain and want more information, you can see their adoption procedure on the RSPCA website.

5. Stormy
This beautiful young girl is Stormy, she was signed over because her previous owner could no longer keep her. Stormy is sweet, friendly and laid back - when alone she loves nothing more than chilling in her bed having a snooze but the moment she spots you she will come running over to say hello. She loves having lots of fuss and cuddles and she loves curling up on our lap and making herself comfy. She will have a gentle play with encourament but she is easily distracted and just wants fuss instead! This lovely girl will make a great family pet, she could live with children all ages and be introduced to other pets in the home.
6. Tic Tac
Tictac was rescued as a poorly stray and after a few weeks he was fit and healthy and ready to come to the cattery. When Tic Tac arrived he was quite scared and shy and he didn’t want to interact with but with time and allowing him to settle slowly he has come out of his shell wonderfully. He can still be a little hesitant initially but with slow interactions under his terms he quickly begins to enjoy having fuss and he has the loudest purr! Tic Tac loves his food and this is a great way to win him around in the early days but be careful he can get a little over excited! Tic Tac will need a quiet home with no young children and an owner that will allow him the time and space he need to adapt to his new home.
7. Gomez
This lovely lad is Gomez, he was rescued by a concerned member of the public who picked him up as an injured stray. It was reported that Gomez had possibly been involved in a road accident, he was collapsed on entry but after a few weeks in the care of the animal hospital he recovered well and is now ready for his new home. When he arrived he was quite shy and he liked to hide himself away to help feel safe but when the carers sat quietly with him he quickly came out from his safe space to say hello. He enjoys having gentle fuss and a game of interactive playtime. He loves his treats and this is a great way to make friends in the early days as well. Gomez will suit a quieter home with children of a secondary school age or above.
