FGRF UK Highlights Global and Local Humanitarian Achievements at Annual Event in Birmingham

Birmingham UK: On Saturday, 25 January, FGRF UK hosted a key event to present updates and highlights of its activities during 2024, both in the UK and internationally. The event provided an overview of the FGRF UK's significant humanitarian efforts, including aid to those affected in Gaza, Palestine, and victims of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey, Syria, and Morocco.

In addition to its global initiatives, the event showcased FGRF UK’s impactful work within the UK, such as free health check services and campaigns designed to raise awareness of critical societal issues, including crime, drug abuse, and other challenges affecting communities.

Speeches and briefings were delivered by key members of the FGRF UK team, including Syed Muhammad Faisal Sami, Head of FGRF UK, alongside other representatives. They highlighted FGRF UK's accomplishments and outlined its ongoing commitment to humanitarian services and supporting vulnerable populations.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony to honour key donors and facilitators who play a crucial role in enabling FGRF UK to deliver life-saving aid and continue its vital humanitarian work. Recognition was also given to members of FGRF UK’s management team for their exceptional leadership and dedication.
