BBC delays Ozzy Osbourne documentary respecting family wishes
The BBC says it took a last-minute decision to postpone a documentary about Ozzy Osbourne's final years in order to respect the wishes of his family.
In the world of rock music, Ozzy Osbourne's name is taken not only as a singer or artist, but also as a legendary personality.
Recently, the BBC's special documentary "Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home" made on his life and last years was suddenly postponed. The BBC took this decision respecting the feelings of the family. But this postponement has raised many questions and discussions among his fans.
The BBC had announced on the very first day that this film would be broadcast on August 18 at 9 pm. But at the last moment on the same day, it was removed from the schedule. The channel said in its statement:

"We are with the Osbourne family in this difficult time. Respecting their wishes, this very special film will be shown at a later time."
The BBC did not mention any specific reason, but it is certain that this film will now be broadcast at a new time, which will be announced soon.
This documentary is not just a film, but an emotional glimpse of the last chapter of Ozzy's life. It includes the whole story of his return to the UK, his last concert in July, and his death at the age of 76.
This is why showing it so soon could prove to be very sensitive for the family. Especially after his wife Sharon and children Jack and Kelly appeared on stage in an emotional manner before his funeral in Birmingham.

Initially, this project was planned as a 10-episode series, "Home to Roost". It was to show Ozzy and Sharon's efforts to return to Buckinghamshire and start a new life.
But as Ozzy's health deteriorated, the focus of the story changed. As a result, it was shortened to a one-hour documentary. It is an up-close and personal portrayal of the last three years, shot with the participation of the entire Osbourne family – Sharon, Jack, and Kelly.
The BBC had previously described the documentary as "moving and inspirational". They said the film would not only give viewers a glimpse of Ozzy's career, but also show how a great artist lived with passion and music even in his final days.
However, given the family's personal feelings and their grief, the BBC decided to postpone the film. Viewers will now be waiting for a new broadcast date.
Ozzy Osbourne was not just a metal singer known as the "Prince of Darkness", but he ruled the hearts of music lovers all over the world through bands like Black Sabbath.
His voice, his personality, and his songs gave a new identity to rock music. Even in his last days, he remained an inspiration to his family and fans.
When the news of the documentary being postponed broke, it became a rising matter, and fans on social media gave mixed reactions . Many respected the feelings of the family, while some expressed disappointment that they were deprived of a glimpse of the last days of their favorite artist.
But most fans believe that this film should be shown when both the family and fans are fully ready to see it.
“Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” is not just a documentary, but the last story of a great rock star. BBC's decision may have been sudden, but it is clear that they consider the feelings of the family paramount.
Now it remains to be seen on which date this much-awaited documentary will be aired and how the world is able to see that great last journey.
