Mell Square in Solihull is seto to welcome four new independent businesses.

The shopping centre has expanded its tenant line up with the arrival of three new independent retailers on Drury Lane, and one further brand set to open this autumn.

Following a series of successful pop-ups, Astraea Designs has launched its first permanent holistic store in Solihull. Located at 48 Drury Lane, the holistic one-stop-shop is run by a brother-sister team, offering visitors a full range of wellness and mystical items including crystals, aromatic incense, engraved merchandise, tarot cards, and divination tools.

Meanwhile, Nails by Christina has opened its doors to clients looking to secure insta-worthy manicures this summer. Based at 9 Drury Lane, opposite Mell Square’s award winning Toffs by Rob Palmer, the salon is home to experienced technicians offering natural nail services and a variety of eyelash extensions and treatments.

And Cris Wong Art Studio, situated at 33 Drury Lane, is the newest player to join Mell Square’s evolving art scene — also comprising Castle Fine Art, Paul Horton Fine Art, and neighbouring Whitewall Galleries.

The new studio operates as a combined gallery and art school, offering lessons for children and adults alike. Courses include Janimation character sketching, mixed media painting, acrylic painting, watercolour and more.

Mell Square will also soon be home to Solihull’s first Asian grocery store, The Veggie Shelf, which is set to open this autumn at 52 Drury Lane.

The Veggie Shelf is centred on healthy living and is the ideal spot for those looking for a traditional grocer and authentic Asian goods.
