Solihull town centre bar to revamp its outdoor service & six other planning applications noted

A pub chain has been given approval for two outdoor seating huts in Solihull town centre.

The outdoor area is to remain largely unchanged but the hut structures – with sloping roofs to provide additional covered seating for customers – will replace a section of fixed bench seating and loose furniture items.
Council officers said: “The proposal is considered to be acceptable in terms of its impact upon the character of the area and visual amenity and the impact upon residential amenity.”
All change for Solihull shop
Meanwhile a Solihull shop has applied for permission for a sign and projecting sign in its window. Hotter in Mill Lane, Solihull, has applied for permission to Solihull Council for a fascia sign and a hanging sign.
