New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Solihull’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Solihull’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Golden Bird, at 321 Chester Road, Birmingham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on July 20.

And Golden Wok, at 373 Warwick Road, Solihull, West Midlands was also given a score of three on July 20.

It means that of Solihull's 117 takeaways with ratings, 69 (59%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
