A Sandwell takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Sandwell takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Smokin Patties and Desserts, a takeaway at 30 Lower High Street, Wednesbury was given the score after assessment on March 13, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Sandwell's 355 takeaways with ratings, 181 (51%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
