A Sandwell takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

New City, a takeaway at 9 Shireland Road, Smethwick was given the score after assessment on May 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Sandwell's 361 takeaways with ratings, 169 (47%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
