A Sandwell takeaway has been handed a new one-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Jaqks Chicken and Chips, a takeaway at 4 New Street West Bromwich Ringway, West Bromwich was given the score after assessment on March 17, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Sandwell's 364 takeaways with ratings, 169 (46%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
