A Sandwell takeaway has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Millfields Chippy, a takeaway at 239a Hydes Road, West Bromwich was given the maximum score after assessment on May 18, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Sandwell's 369 takeaways with ratings, 177 (48%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
