Sandwell road closures: three for motorists to avoid this week
Sandwell's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9pm February 7 to 6am February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, jct two, lane closure for gantry repairs.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A4123, from 9pm February 20 to 5am February 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 jct two Birchley island, lane closure for signs.

Hide Ad• A4123, from 9pm February 23 to 6am February 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, jct two to jct one and jct two exit slip road, Lane and slip road carriageway closure for gantry survey and inspection works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
