Sandwell road closures: four for motorists to avoid over the next fortnight
Sandwell's motorists will have four road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

Hide AdThe latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 9pm December 11 to 6am December 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 2 to junction 3, Lane closures due to barrier repairs.
• A4123, from 10pm December 11 to 6am December 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M6 both directions jct eight to M5 jct one, carriageway closure for survey works.
• A4123, from 8pm December 12 to 6am December 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound and southbound, junction 3, exit slip road carriageway closure and lane closure for communication works, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
