A Sandwell drinking establishment has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

The Island Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at Island Inn, Kenrick Way, West Bromwich was given the score after assessment on October 27, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Sandwell's 216 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 147 (68%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
