Road closures: one for Sandwell drivers this week

Drivers in and around Sandwell will have a National Highways road closure to watch out for this week.

And it is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is due to start this week:

• A456, from 9pm April 11 to 6am April 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, jct two exit slip road, carriageway closure for technology repairs.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
