New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sandwell’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sandwell’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Village Chippy, at 37 Rowley Village, Rowley Regis was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 7.

And Pizza Pan, at 3 Pottery Road, Oldbury was given a score of three on September 7.

It means that of Sandwell's 363 takeaways with ratings, 178 (49%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
