New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sandwell’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Sandwell’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Chickenbox & Pizza Ltd, at 424 High Street, Smethwick was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on June 18.

And Pizza Land, at 293 High Street, Smethwick was given a score of three on June 18.

It means that of Sandwell's 358 takeaways with ratings, 168 (47%) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
