New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Sandwell’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Sandwell’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

• Rated 4: Veggie and Vegan Point at 48a Lower High Street, Wednesbury; rated on April 19

• Rated 3: Le Le at 639 Bearwood Road, Smethwick; rated on April 19

• Rated 3: San Mareeno Pizza at 31 Waterloo Road, Smethwick; rated on April 19

• Rated 2: Pizza Star at 105 Lower Church Lane, Tipton; rated on April 19

It means that of Sandwell's 369 similar establishments with ratings, 177 (48%) have ratings of five and just three have zero ratings.
