1. Regina's Bar & Restaurant
The city's culinary scene is heating up with the upcoming launch of Regina’s Bar & Restaurant, a chic new Mediterranean restaurant opening on Newhall Street at the end of January 2025. 2. Gail's Bakery, New Street
A new bakery will open in Birmingham city centre in January. Gail’s Bakery will open its doors on New Street. 3. Maneki Ramen, JQ
Award-winning Japanese restaurant Maneki Ramen will open second site in Birmingham. The popular Japanese-inspired restaurant currently based in Worcester, has announced that a second site will open in Birmingham in Spring next year. It will be based in the Jewellery Quarter, with the 2,000 square foot site having room for 70 covers, plus an additional 40 seats downstairs. | Maneki

4. BOXPARK, Digbeth
Food hall and event space operator Boxpark are opening a space in Birmingham next year. Those behind the plans say Boxpark Birmingham, between Floodgate Street and Milk Street, will be a “transformational new destination” within the area. After being approved by the city council earlier this year, the “vibrant and exciting” venue is now scheduled to open next year. It’s set to be Boxpark Ltd’s first site in the Midlands after other venues were opened across London and in Liverpool. | BOXPARK
