University Hospitals Birmingham Trust cares for 174 Covid-19 patients in hospital
University Hospitals Birmingham Trust was caring for 174 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.
NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on August 10 was down from 178 on the same day the previous week.

Hide AdThe number of beds at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 increased by 38% in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 126.
Across England there were 5,096 people in hospital with Covid as of August 10, with 782 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.
The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally increased by 72% in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has increased by 66%.
The figures also show that 170 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust in the week to August 8. This was down from 213 in the previous seven days.
