New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Kangxi Imperial, at 12 - 14 Vivian Road, Birmingham was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on January 12.

And Diamond Lounge, at 17-19 Barr Street, Birmingham was given a score of one on January 12.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,749 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 1,018 (58%) have ratings of five and just 32 have zero ratings.
