New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mon Korea, at 2 Heathfield Road, Moseley And Kings Heath, Birmingham was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on December 1.

And Tasty Restaurant, at 55 Station Street, Ladywood, Birmingham was also given a score of one on December 1.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,664 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 976 (59%) have ratings of five and just 31 have zero ratings.
