New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Sarehole Mill, at Sarehole Mill Museum, Cole Bank Road, Birmingham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 23.

And Itaewon, at 43-45 Station Street, Ladywood, Birmingham was given a score of zero on November 23.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,662 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 980 (59%) have ratings of five and just 31 have zero ratings.
