New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Y Not Roti Handi, at 33 Formans Road, Birmingham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 14.

And Simla, at 1285 Bristol Road South, Northfield, Birmingham was given a score of two on August 14.

It means that of Birmingham's 840 takeaways with ratings, 346 (41%) have ratings of five and just 19 have zero ratings.
