New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Hot Stuff Pizza, at 76 Bristol Street, Birmingham was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 1.

And Granny's Original Takeaway, at 220 St Vincent Street West, Birmingham was given a score of zero on March 1.

It means that of Birmingham's 866 takeaways with ratings, 342 (39%) have ratings of five and 29 have zero ratings.
