New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Faraday Wharf, at 10 Holt Street, Birmingham was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 4.

And Cosy Club Birmingham, at 33 Bennetts Hill, Birmingham was given a score of three on August 4.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,683 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 983 (58%) have ratings of five and just 18 have zero ratings.
