Food hygiene ratings given to two Birmingham restaurants

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Birmingham’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Cappadocia, at 33 Frederick Street, Birmingham was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 15.

And Avenue Kebab House, at 525 Green Lane, Bordesley Green, Birmingham was given a score of one on November 15.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,729 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 956 (55%) have ratings of five and just 21 have zero ratings.
