A Birmingham takeaway has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Golden slice, a takeaway at 827 Stratford Road, Springfield, Birmingham was given the score after assessment on June 15, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Birmingham's 842 takeaways with ratings, 345 (41%) have ratings of five and just 16 have zero ratings.
