A Birmingham takeaway has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Dixy Chicken, a takeaway at 780 Stratford Road, Sparkbrook, Birmingham was given the score after assessment on February 3, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Birmingham's 873 takeaways with ratings, 340 (39%) have ratings of five and 29 have zero ratings.
