A Birmingham restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Mother India, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 60a Boldmere Road, Birmingham was given the score after assessment on November 30, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,664 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 976 (59%) have ratings of five and just 31 have zero ratings.
