A Birmingham restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

A Birmingham restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Al-Bader Restaurant, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 178-182 Ladypool Road, Birmingham was given the maximum score after assessment on November 28, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Birmingham's 1,666 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 979 (59%) have ratings of five and just 29 have zero ratings.
