1. Kenilworth castle, Warwickshire

2. Alton Castle, Stoke-on-Trent
This is a a Gothic-revival castle, on a hill above the Churnet Valley, in the village of Alton. It is a grade II listed neo-gothic building designed by A.W. Pugin and built in 1847. 3. Croft Castle, Herefordshire
This is a country house in the village of Croft. It was owned by the Croft family since 1085, but the castle and estate passed out of their hands in the 18th century. It was bequeathed to the National Trust in the 1950s. It includes 1,500 acres of historic parkland, with woodland, farmland, picturesque Fishpool Valley, Iron Age hillfort and ancient trees.
