You don’t have to be a ghost buster or a psychic to experience a haunting in Birmingham because there are several places believed to have ghosts lurking around.
Birmingham is vibrant and growing but it’s also an old city and ghost stories are just a part and parcel of that. Whether it’s an urban myth or a story that’s passed down through the ages, Birmingham residents know where the haunted locations in the city are. So, we asked Brummies about the most haunted places and the response was interest, to say the least.
Some people experienced something unusual while others shared stories they have heard over and over while living here. If you want to embark on a ghost tour all by yourself, here are 10 locations recommended by Brummies:
1. Sheldon Hall Stonehouse
One BirminghamWorld reader said: “At Sheldon Hall, we was having a family meal and when we took pictures for memories there was a big red light behind my son. It wasn’t the camera.”
2. Vicarage Road, Kings Heath

3. Queens College Chambers on paradise street
