Not too far from Birmingham city centre, the upmarket neighbourhood of Harborne is home to some of the most expensive properties in Brum. But, that’s not all it’s known for. The neighbourhood has a thriving High Street - where several new independent pubs and restaurants have opened this year, although some old favourites have said farewell.
From independent pizzaria Rudy’s to an O’Neils pub and a Raja Monkey restaurant from the Lasan Group - Harborne High Street has had a bit of a boost in amid the cost of living crisis.
Beyond the High Street, there are some great things to do and places to go with friends, children and pets in Harborne. And, if you prefer outdoor markets more - they also host a monthly market where local artisans sell their wares.
With several independent and chain stores, restaurants and pubs - this neighbourhood is a great place to hang out on weeknights and weekends if you are looking for a lively vibe without having to deal with the busy city centre.
