Luke Renshaw, the West Midlands Venue Manager for Escape Live, explained, "Escape Live is the UK's number one escape room venue. We have got seven different escape rooms in this venue, all different bespoke experiences.

"But most proudly we are the home of the Peaky Blinders escape room experiences, where you go into an episode of the Peaky Blinders if you want, you've got to help Tommy, you've got to help Arthur, solve some crimes, do some different things to eventually finish a mission within 60 minutes to then get yourselves out of the room."

Escape rooms, at their core, are puzzle games where participants must unravel a series of tasks to find their way out of a room. Escape Live not only promises a captivating storyline but promises a fully interactive and immersive gaming experience.

Brummies should be particularly excited about the Peaky Blinders themed game, where they try to join Alfie's gang. This activity provides an entertaining escape from reality, stimulates the mind, and builds a strong sense of teamwork among players.

Luke emphasised the broad appeal of the escape rooms, "Whether it's families, couples, businesses, companies, different groups, we have people on their first date, we have engagements, we have all sorts of groups from different walks of life come and play in these rooms and they all absolutely love it, it's great."

Escape Live's indoor activity is perfect for friends and families wanting to do something together over winter, and it has made quite an impression on those who walk through its doors.

Luke also revealed the venue's connection with the famed television series, "We've got an official partnership with the BBC, they helped us design the rooms. The actors themselves did the voiceover, so if you are going to play one of our Peaky Blinders rooms, Cillian Murphy speaks to you, you know it's real life. It's so immersive, it really makes you feel like they're part of it, and being in the heart of Birmingham really makes you feel like you're in that situation as well."

Escape Live, situated in the Jewellery Quarter, continues to captivate locals and tourists with a truly engaging and unique experience, ensuring that even the gloomiest January day can be turned into an escape room adventure.
