Hide AdIt’s a real boost for the 31 year-old, who has missed live performances since the pandemic struck. And it comes as she is due to release a new single this autumn called Please Let Me Down Easy.
Looking past lockdown
Before the pandemic lockdowns began in spring 2020, Letitia’s music career was soaring and she had toured her own show, Respect to Aretha – dedicated to soul legend Aretha Franklin - and was getting brilliant responses to her work.
But, like others, she admits she found lockdown challenging.
“When the pandemic hit I suddenly had no gigs – I lost 12 months of work in 24 hours. I’m very lucky to have the radio job as it meant I could still work during the pandemic but I really struggled with the first lockdown. I just stayed in my room all the time, only leaving if I had to go to work or to the shop. My mental health went really downhill.

When it came to my birthday in July, I took my cousin, partner and some friends and we climbed Snowdon. It was incredible
Getting up there was tough and there were times when I didn’t think I could make it but the people around me were so supportive.
Achieving the mountain climb was proof that Letitia had managed to pull herself out of the dark place COVID-19 and lockdown had caused.

What to expect at Solihull Christmas Party Nights at Solihull Moores FC
Letitia said: “It’s going to be such a good fun evening. I’m going to do a few Christmas tunes, it wouldn’t be a Christmas show if I didn’t, so expect the old Mariah Carey classic and a few more.
“After the year we’ve had, everyone is just going to go wild this party season. I’ll also do a bit of soul, Motown, disco classics, nineties clubs classics – the tunes I grew up with.”
The Christmas Party Nights feature a three-course dinner and party DJ. Organised by 4th Revolution Marketing, they launch on November 18 and then run Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings until December 23, with an additional New Year’s Eve Party Night.
