Rick Astley has announced a new UK tour with a show at Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena.

Rick Astley, known for 80’s hit ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, will visit Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena on his UK tour next year. The singer has sold over 40 million records worldwide during his successful career which spans over 30 years.

Classic tune ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ has had over 1.2 billion views on YouTube alone. Back in 2016, the star released his smash hit album, titled ‘50’.

The record stormed the album charts, selling over 300,000 copies and soon becoming one of the biggest-selling releases of that year. The now 57-year-old released a follow-up to the hit record in 2018 titled Beautiful Life which boasts 12 new tracks written, produced and played by the man himself.

There is no presale for Rick Astley’s Birmingham date. However, the general sale will begin on Ticketmaster on Friday, June 23.
