Peter Doherty announces first acoustic tour in 10 years - including show at Birmingham’s O2 Institute

Pete Doherty has been a familiar name in the world of music for years now, and he’s bringing his new solo acoustic tour to Birmingham. The Libertines frontman is coming to the O2 Institute as part of a UK tour.
Doherty will embark on his first solo acoustic tour in ten years, with a series of intimate ‘Songbook’ shows. Doherty was part of the band which became The Libertines in the late 1990s. Their first album, ‘Up the Bracket’ was released in 2002 and the band have since become one of the biggest in recent years.

Hide AdHe formed the band Babyshambles in the mid 2000s and their first album was released in 2005. The band has since released two more albums, the most recent back in 2013.
Doherty will be performing a selection of tracks from his vast back catalogue. This includes classics from The Libertines, Babyshambles and solo projects and records.
Tickets for the gig at Birmingham’s O2 Institute are on sale now. Tickets for either standing or on the balcony are available for £35.25 through Ticketmaster.
