Filming is officially under way for the major hit film based on the Peaky Blinders series.

Hide AdFilming is taking place at Digbeth Loc. Studios in the city and other locations around the West Midlands and Liverpool.
It is believed filming started on Monday at a secret location in Liverpool.
On Monday, Netflix shared a snap of Cillian Murphy wearing his iconic Thomas Shelby outfit, as well as a photo of the 48-year-old alongside the creator of the original hit series.

Netflix has shared a first-look image of Cillian Murphy reprising the role of Tommy Shelby for the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie.
A direct sequel to the series, the film is set a few years after the events of the season six finale, following the Shelbys during World War II.
